Welcome to the Official Website of the Order of Capuchins Friars Minor Pakistan!

The history of Capuchins in the area now Pakistan dates back to 1632 when the first Capuchin Friars reached India, and the Lahore, together with the Portuguese sailors and merchants.

Since then Capuchins have spearheaded the spread of Christianity in British India, and were integral to the establishment of the Archdiocese of Lahore, the oldest and most populous diocese in Pakistan.

Presently, under the leadership of the Vice Provincial Fr. Francis Nadeem, there are thirty brothers in the Vice Province with a further five in the novitiate.
